Women Executives head MFATT

 

The Mutual Fund Association of Trinidad and Tobago (MFATT) held its fifteenth Annual Meeting on the 6th July, 2023. The following Member Representatives were appointed to the Executive team for the 2023/2024 term of office:

Abbey Mohammed

Chairman/President Mutual Fund Association of Trinidad and Tobago

Designated Representative of 

First Citizens Portfolio and Investment Management Services Limited

Abbey has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services Sector, both locally and internationally. She currently holds the position of Head- First Citizens Portfolio and Investment Management Services where she leads a team responsible for managing Mutual Funds and Pension Plans with Total Funds Under Management of TTD 17BN.

She has completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (with Honours) in Economics from the University of Guelph, Canada, a Masters of Business Administration (with Distinction) from Edinburgh Business School and ACCA. 

She is also a CFA Charter holder

 

 

Krystal Salazar

Vice Chairman/Vice President

Designated Representative of Scotia Investment (Trinidad & Tobago) Ltd.

Krystal is an investment professional with over 14 years of investment and portfolio management experience spread across the mutual fund and pension fund industries at leading financial institutions in Trinidad. Krystal holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies with a minor in finance from the University of the West Indies, an MBA from the Henley Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

 

Tricia Kissoon

Treasurer 

Designated Representative of JMMB Investments (Trinidad and Tobago) Limited

Tricia Kissoon is the CEO of JMMB Investments and Securities and is a prominent figure in the financial services sector. She is driven to have an impact on the lives of those she serves since she has more than 18 years of experience and a desire to change the world. Bachelor of Sciences in Economics & Finance from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School.

 

She is also a director of the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SDATT),  a member of the American Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago (AMCHAM T&T) Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee and Chairwoman of the ESG Banking and Finance Sub-committee.
